Design Statement

With this project I created branding for a realistic but made-up event. I choose to create an event located in Boulder Colorado at the brewery Avery Brewing Co. and includes a mountain biking or hiking excursion. I wanted to make this event as real as possible, so I researched and found mountain biking trails with varying levels of intensity to fit peoples comfort levels. I also had a hiking trail for those who didn’t want to go mountain biking or for those who want to do both. Along with finding a hotel that people could stay at that was equidistant between the brewery and the trails. Since there were a lot of activities and places to be throughout this event, I wanted to create something to make it easy to find any and all information about the event. So, I designed the layout for an app.
